Poison control centers are valuable for providing good information about substances that can damage us physically. Wouldn't it be great if there were poison control centers that could help us with emotional or spiritual damage in similar ways? When my children were little the local center in our community offered Mr. Yuck stickers to put on anything that was a hands off item. People and situations don't come with Mr. Yuck stickers of course but I can think of a few in my life that should have had them and I'll bet you can too. I'm also sure that there are a few people I've encountered who'd like to give me one. Fortunately, we cannot assign poison control stickers to other human beings! . Someone who is poison to one person may not be to another, rather like various allergies which in some cases can be as fatal as a poison.
