I need to feel safe in order to talk about my more complex ideas, and if I know that something I find interesting enough to share or speculate about will be cut apart with a scalpel, I would rather keep it to myself. I always end up feeling guarded with INTPs, even the ones I like. I don't know if I will ever be able to trust one not to hurt me, even if they don't always do it on purpose.

This is the moralist version of the INFP.

Social Order of the Comanche

In Greek mythology, Nemesis (in Greek, Νέμεσις), also called Rhamnousia/Rhamnusia ("the goddess of Rhamnous") at her sanctuary at Rhamnous, north of Marathon, was the spirit of divine retribution against those who succumb to hubris (Extreme haughtiness or arrogance). The Greeks personified vengeful fate as a remorseless goddess. The name Nemesis is related to the Greek word νέμειν, nemein, meaning "to give what is due". The Romans equated the Greek Nemesis with Invidia (Aronoff 2003).

I think it is the E that is arrogant. The trick is to "Send them Up" and then they become Introverted.

This presents a problem in the feeding grounds "workplace" and at the watering holes "pubs, cafes" as E is necessary for social interaction and making a living and it spooks the ESFJ.

The INTP may have to morph-shift through the different functions, but must beware that some shifts lead to suicide. This is the operation of too much Introverted Thinking without the other functions.

Mobbing

Mobbing begins subtly with rumors, gossip, shunning, and then moves to more overt types of behavior such as public humiliation and intimidation and even physical abuse. This is preventable. Anti-bullying laws and policies are helpful and provide legal recourse but the real issue is what students and adults are willing to tolerate, join or justify. There is no justification for treating a human being as an object, whether it is an object of hate, jealousy, fear, resentment or ridicule. We are all precious individuals, human beings worthy and entitled to be treated with Dignity and Respect without exception.

This is the great problem the INTP has with their natural mate the ENFP, there are always ISTJ Dogs around, from savage Hounds to dutiful Retrievers. Eagle INTP flies north over the tundra and becomes smaller in status INTJ, flies nearer to the ground in the desert and although still sharp, he is not so far seeing, more opportunist and somewhat diminished and bewildered (wilderness).

Meta-narrative

In critical theory, and particularly postmodernism, a metanarrative (from meta-narrative, sometimes also known as a master- or grand narrative) is an abstract idea that is thought to be a comprehensive explanation of historical experience or knowledge. According to John Stephens it "is a global or totalizing cultural narrative schema which orders and explains knowledge and experience".^[1] The prefix metameans "beyond" and is here used to mean "about", and a narrative is a story. There is only one metanarrative as defined by Lyotard. Modernists and philosophers address the problem by telling a story -- the story of progress through universal human reason, as Logos triumphs over Mythos. The problem is that once a proof is accepted as the standard of believability not only must we prove our claims, we must also prove our proofs, and so on, ad infinitum. This is what Lyotard was referring to when he made the claim that the postmodern condition is one of incredulity toward metanarratives.[edit]

In social contexts, the personal history of the worker, criminal, social deviant, mental patient, varies according to the historiographical tradition or framework (school of thought, philosophy, world system) of the reporter/journalist/case worker. Kurt Freiherr[1] von Hammerstein-Equord (September 26, 1878 – April 25, 1943) was a German general who served for a period as Commander-in-Chief of the Reichswehr. He is famous for being an ardent opponent of Hitler and the Nazi regime.

I divide my officers into four classes; the clever, the lazy, the industrious, and the stupid. Most often two of these qualities come together. The officers who are clever and industrious are fitted for the highest staff appointments. Those who are stupid and lazy make up around 90% of every army in the world, and they can be used for routine work. The man who is clever and lazy however is for the very highest command; he has the temperament and nerves to deal with all situations. But whoever is stupid and industrious is a menace and must be removed immediately

I have the Police Officer in Uniform as ISXP the Pig (a human-type animal). Street-wise (P), not that intelligent (X), not well educated (S) and not the life and soul of the party (I).

XXXX Fairy Loaf

Fairy Loaves - Sussex

Pull (2003) made a detailed study of the folklore surrounding fossil echinoids from the Chalk in the county of Sussex. Various names have been applied to these fossils, including Sugar Loaves, Fairy Loaves, Shepherd's Crowns and Pixies' Helmets. They were once frequently displayed on the windowsills of Sussex cottages.

When questioned by John Pull in 1938, the occupants of the cottages usually regarded them as harbingers of good luck, but some believed that they prevented the cottage from being struck by lightning or were useful in predicting rain. The last of these beliefs may have a basis because any moisture present in the atmosphere may condense on the fossil first.

In both Sussex and East Anglia, Fairy Loaves are also associated with fairy men, asfarisses or ferrishers comes from the Gaelic word fear sidhean (fairy men) (Evans 1966). According to Lindahl et al. (2000). others considered that the marks on these echinoid fossils resembled claw marks, and thus called these fossil sea urchins eagle stones.

The proposition that existence precedes essence (French: l'existence précède l'essence) is a central claim of existentialism, which reverses the traditional philosophical view that the essence or nature of a thing is more fundamental and immutable than its existence. To existentialists, the human being - through his consciousness - creates his own values and determines a meaning to his life, for in the beginning the human being does not possess any identity or value. By posing the acts that constitute him, he makes his existence more significant.^[1][2].

The idea can be found in the works of Averroes in the 12th century,^[3] Mulla Sadra in the 17th century,^[4] Søren Kierkegaard in the 19th century,^[5] and was later more explicitly formulated by French philosopher Jean-Paul Sartre in the 20th century. Simone de Beauvoir also uses this concept in her feminist existentialism to develop the idea that "one is not born a woman, but becomes one". In Islamic philosophy, whereas previous methods of philosophical thought held that "essence precedes existence", a concept which dates back to Avicenna^[3] and Shahab al-Din Suhrawardi,^[6] Mulla Sadra substituted a metaphysics of existence for the traditional metaphysics of essences, giving priority Ab initio to existence over quiddity.^[7]

In western philosophy Sartre flips this around arguing that for humans, existence precedes essence. The three-word formula originates with Sartre in his 1945 lecture "Existentialism Is a Humanism"^[8] (though antecedent notions can be found in Heidegger's Being and Time).

Sartre's view

The Sartrean claim is best understood in contrast to an established principle of metaphysics that essence precedes existence, i.e. that there is such a thing as human nature, determined by the cosmic order (or a god), laid down by religious tradition, or legislated by political or social authority. A typical claim for this traditional thesis would be that man is essentially selfish, or that he is a rational being.

To Sartre, the idea that "existence precedes essence" means that a personality is not built over a previous designed model or a precise purpose, because that's the human being who chooses to engage in such entreprise.
