I looked this up because I met a female INFJ and then Emily Brontë's name came up as probably this personality type. She did not understand about the mad woman in the basement though.
Their reputation for reading the minds of others even before the others know themselves is uncanny and seems to be true. I find this personality type the most mysterious and hidden of them all to me. Even more so if they habitually act in their secondary function (e.g. doing a job that is not their natural inclination). I have named them Skylarks.
I would guess Jane Eyre was this personality.
