I think it is the E that is arrogant. The trick is to "Send them Up" and then they become Introverted.

This presents a problem in the feeding grounds "workplace" and at the watering holes "pubs, cafes" as E is necessary for social interaction and making a living and it spooks the ESFJ.

The INTP may have to morph-shift through the different functions, but must beware that some shifts lead to suicide. This is the operation of too much Introverted Thinking without the other functions.

The INTP needs to find a habitat without the Guardian predominance. They are likely to "Beat him Up".
This INTP has to be very careful to avoid the Rat XSFJ.

Mobbing

Mobbing begins subtly with rumors, gossip, shunning, and then moves to more overt types of behavior such as public humiliation and intimidation and even physical abuse. This is preventable. Anti-bullying laws and policies are helpful and provide legal recourse but the real issue is what students and adults are willing to tolerate, join or justify. There is no justification for treating a human being as an object, whether it is an object of hate, jealousy, fear, resentment or ridicule. We are all precious individuals, human beings worthy and entitled to be treated with Dignity and Respect without exception.

The ISTJ savage the ENFPs, although chemists are often "cold shower" INTPs.

The Book; Script and Dialogue (Nature of the Aliens)

It is well known that the aliens are here, invaded or incorporated into the brains of a large number of human beings (Homo sapiens). The figure may be as high as 10% or so from the Jovial Empire and Outer Space. The higher echelons World Government do not deny this is the case. In fact, they are almost solely comprised of aliens with just an occasional Earthling. The plebs and the lower echelons think this is all nonsense, which it is, but true all the same.

For the purposes of clarity all members of the Terran Empire can be referred to as Earthlings, so a Wild Cat Lady from Montana in a bright orange dress might be a Terran cross between a Venutian and an Earthling who meets a weirdo (alien from Neptune) in a tavern on a date.

Your decision (as script collaborator) is to decide what she says:

Fill in the gaps in the Comments section on the blog.

NB: Your intuition may advise you that if the aliens take over the World, everything would be in harmony. Alas, if only this was the case. The fact is that the various planetary aliens are are irreconcilable conflict with each other (different planets) are the wars will go on and on .....

Success

"If A is a success in life, then A equals x plus y plus z. Work is x; y is play; and z is keeping your mouth shut."

Masters of War

"He who joyfully marches to music rank and file, has already earned my contempt. He has been given a large brain by mistake, since for him the spinal cord would surely suffice. This disgrace to civilization should be done away with at once. Heroism at command, how violently I hate all this, how despicable and ignoble war is; I would rather be torn to shreds than be a part of so base an action. It is my conviction that killing under the cloak of war is nothing but an act of murder."

Rational-Idealist Pairings

Dr. Keirsey recommends Rational-Idealist pairings and suggests that the best combinations would be the ‘opposite,’ that is, ENTJ with INFP, ENTP with INFJ, INTJ with ENFP, and INTP with ENFJ. Each of these pairs has the ‘N’ in common, but nothing else. Anecdotal evidence appears to support his suggestions. If the couple has too much in common, they are likely to have some obvious weak areas. For example, a Rational Inventor (ENTP) with an Idealist Champion (ENFP) have only one letter different. This couple is likely to have lots of fun generating ideas and excitement but may have difficulty actually bringing ideas to fruition. Also, it is likely that neither one of them will be wild about housework or maintenance. Couples with a lot in common may find it easier to communicate but may also find it more difficult to get everything done.

Guardian-Artisan Pairings

Guardian-Artisan pairings combine a love of fun and pleasure now with planning for the future. The combine social responsibility and meeting obligations with taking care of yourself and being free. Artisans can help their Guardian partners stop and smell the roses while Guardians can help Artisans look to maximize enjoyment between now and the future. When these couples fight, they are likely to accuse each other of being judgmental, too rigid, irresponsible, and selfish.

This is the great problem the INTP has with their natural mate the ENFP, there are always ISTJ Dogs around, from savage Hounds to dutiful Retrievers. But to INTPs Dogs are often nasty horrid critters, worse because they are so dogged. ST Dogs are a Dictator category.
They are meant to obey and be obeyed. The stick does not help (in theory: it might make them contrary - not sure ????)

The ENTP Snake is faced with a whole pack of vengeful baying dogs. Best to attack just in case the Snake flies away like an Eagle (INTP).

Brand New Picture Book

If a man does not keep pace with his companions, perhaps it is because he hears a different drummer
Let him step to the music which he hears, however measured or far away ~ Henry David Thoreau

Snakes (ENTP) are deaf. Can't hear the beat and do not hear the orchestra, although they may pick up the vibrations. The INTP (Eagle) hears the beat but rises above it and does not take any notice. He has a Brand New Picture Book before they had the War.

Two Dragons of Shoreham

Two Dragons live around Shoreham

Not the one that moved to a new location as originally supposed.

One lives in terrestrial habitat of Thundersbarrow. This one is called Eli, perhaps Saturnia and guards its treasure jealously.

The original one lives in the river and the sea and is the Adur or Sore Dragon. 'a-dhowr' (Cornish) means of the water, or from the water.

These Dragons are in opposition (enemies).

I've heard this mentioned a lot. That ENTP's are the most introverted-like of the extroverts. It makes sense to me personally, I used to somewhat identify as an INTJ (especially when I was younger).
So why is this the case - can anyone explain why the ENTP is like this? Or share personal experience, to testify to it?

It is because the abundant crazy ESFJs are spooked by ENTPs of the same gender. The usual thing is rise above to INTP, but sometimes the intimidation alters the judgement to INTJ. This happens more in schools and hierarchical organisations.

Fear, to Control Others

Niccolò Machiavelli's The Prince

Believing that people were motivated by self-interest, Niccolò Machiavelli wrote The Prince in 1513 as advice for the leadership of Florence, Italy.[5] Machiavelli recommended that leaders use fear—but not hatred—to maintain control.

Taboo

A taboo is a strong social prohibition (or ban) relating to any area of human activity or social custom that is sacred and forbidden based on moral judgment and sometimes even religious beliefs. Breaking the taboo is usually considered objectionable or abhorrent by society. The term comes from the Tongan language, and appears in many Polynesian cultures. In those cultures, a tabu (or tapu or kapu) often has specific religious associations. When an activity or custom is taboo, it is forbidden and interdictions are implemented concerning it, such as the ground set apart as a sanctuary for criminals. Some taboo activities or customs are prohibited under law and transgressions may lead to severe penalties. Other taboos result in embarrassment, shame, and rudeness. Although critics and/or dissenters may oppose taboos, they are put into place to avoid disrespect to any given authority, be it legal, moral and/or religious. An example of use in this context is: Incest is taboo.

Necessity of power

The authors also emphasize the necessity of power (social, economic, and political power) to stigmatize. While the role of power is clear in some situations, in others it can become masked as the power differences are so stark.

White Eagle of the Comanche

Isa-tai ("White Eagle;" c.1840 — c.1890) was a Comanche warrior and medicine man of the Quahadi band who gained enormous prominence for a brief period in 1873-74 as a prophet and "messiah" of Native Americans. He succeeded, albeit very temporarily, in uniting the autonomous Comanche bands as no previous Chief or leader had ever done. Indeed, his prestige was such that he was able to organize what was said to be the first Comanche sun dance, an Indian ritual that his tribe had not previously adopted

Neurotypical

Neurotypical
From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Neurotypical

Neurotypical (or NT) is a term that was coined in the autistic community as a label for people who are not on the autism spectrum: specifically, neurotypical people have neurological development and states that are consistent with what most people would perceive as normal, particularly in regards to their ability to process linguistic information and social cues. The concept was later adopted by both the neurodiversity movement and the scientific community.

NF Idealists can behave like idiots. That is if they use Feeling as their prime mode. Trouble occurs if they suppress Intuition.

Less of the boozing, perhaps? But the shy INTP is helped by alcohol. Turns into an ENTP and spooks the ESFJ.

Does not rise so high on the Thermals

Eagle INTP flies north over the tundra and becomes smaller in status INTJ, flies nearer to the ground in the desert and although still sharp, he is not so far seeing, more opportunist and somewhat diminished and bewildered (wilderness).

Meta-narrative

In critical theory, and particularly postmodernism, a metanarrative (from meta-narrative, sometimes also known as a master- or grand narrative) is an abstract idea that is thought to be a comprehensive explanation of historical experience or knowledge. According to John Stephens it "is a global or totalizing cultural narrative schema which orders and explains knowledge and experience".[1] The prefix metameans "beyond" and is here used to mean "about", and a narrative is a story. Therefore, a metanarrative is a story about a story, encompassing and explaining other 'little stories' within totalizing schemes.

http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Metanarratives

There is only one metanarrative as defined by
Lyotard. Modernists and philosophers address the problem by telling a story -- the story of progress through universal human reason, as Logos triumphs over Mythos. The problem is that once a proof is accepted as the standard of believability not only must we prove our claims, we must also prove our proofs, and so on, ad infinitum. This is what Lyotard was referring to when he made the claim that the postmodern condition is one of incredulity toward metanarratives.[edit]

Historiography

Some of the common questions of historiography are:

  1. Reliability of the sources used, in terms of authorship, credibility of the author, and the authenticity or corruption of the text. (See also source criticism).
  2. Historiographical tradition or framework. Every historian uses one (or more) historiographical traditions, for example Marxist, Annales School, "total history", or political history.
  3. Moral issues, guilt assignment, and praise assignment
  4. Revisionism versus orthodox interpretations
  5. Historical metanarratives

Issues engaged by critical historiography include:

  • What constitutes a historical "event"?
  • In what modes does a historian write and produce statements of "truth" and "fact"?
  • How does the medium (novel, textbook, film, theatre, comic) through which historical information is conveyed influence its meaning?

Comment:

In social contexts, the personal history of the worker, criminal, social deviant, mental patient, varies according to the historiographical tradition or framework (school of thought, philosophy, world system) of the reporter/journalist/case worker. As well as the credibility of the informer (grass, Wicked Messenger, scientific researcher, intelligence sources).

Stupid and Industrious is a Menace

Kurt von Hammerstein-Equord
From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Kurt_von_Hammerstein-Equord

General Kurt von Hammerstein
Kurt Freiherr[1] von Hammerstein-Equord (September 26, 1878 – April 25, 1943) was a German general who served for a period as Commander-in-Chief of the Reichswehr. He is famous for being an ardent opponent of Hitler and the Nazi regime.

I divide my officers into four classes; the clever, the lazy, the industrious, and the stupid. Most often two of these qualities come together. The officers who are clever and industrious are fitted for the highest staff appointments. Those who are stupid and lazy make up around 90% of every army in the world, and they can be used for routine work. The man who is clever and lazy however is for the very highest command; he has the temperament and nerves to deal with all situations. But whoever is stupid and industrious is a menace and must be removed immediately

I think the Freud stuff is complete and utter drivel. Even the Millon Psi Cops have the Passive-Aggression as a cross gender sign, whereas the Perseus System has it a political hierarchical event.
