Coyote

Perseus, I wonder what a Coyote would be in your System. I base its personality on the trickster of legend as a sly and cunning jokester(most likely you heard of this bloke's tales). However, it can show great adaptability and is a true survivor. I was thinking it might be an ENTP, but I'm not sure.[/quote]

Hell, I'm English and we do not have Coyote's. It is a difficult one because the Fox is a tricky cunning dog but not really a Joker.

Fox is NOT between ENTJ (Wolf) - ISFJ (Dog)

but

ENFJ (Beaver) - ENTJ (Wolf)

I is not a flyer though so E is definite, so I am going for ENXJ. J is higher than the ISTJ chasing the Fox. A Coyote and a Fox may have a higher P than the Wolf, is adaptability leaning towards SP.

All that is gold does not glitter

All that is gold does not glitter,
Not all those who wander are lost;
The old that is strong does not wither,
Deep roots are not reached by the frost.

From the ashes a fire shall be woken,
A light from the shadows shall spring;
Renewed shall be blade that was broken,
The crownless again shall be king.

Older version:

All that is gold does not glitter;
all that is long does not last;
All that is old does not wither;
not all that is over is past.[3]

The second quatrain was added during the following revision:

Not all that have fallen are vanquished;
a king may yet be without crown,
A blade that was broken be brandished;
and towers that were strong may fall down

Beaver & the Toad

In the Perseus system there is the story of the Beaver (ENFJ) and the Toad (INTP variant). The Beaver is so busy he thinks the rational (Red) Toad is lazy. In the alternate story the Beaver can be replaced by the Lynx, but I think Beaver works better.

Perseus System

My heart does not seem to be in making a website, but the basics are at:

http://www.glaucus.org.uk/Perseus.html

Guards

The Guards like Carrot in Terry Pratchett's books want what employers (the Army) want:

Guardians value experience, and they seek a tangible return on their investments*. Believing in common sense, they are not attracted to idle speculation. They are the glue of civilization, maintaining and nurturing institutions that have been established by the dint of hard work. They tend to be conventional and cooperative in their work, wanting to make sure everybody gets what they deserve, no more and no less. They follow the rules of their cohort or group and expect others to as well.

http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Guardian_temperament

*Employees are investments not people. You are expected to sell your soul to the Company.

Nerds, Geeks and Dorks

A Nerd is someone who is passionate about learning/being smart/academia.
A Geek is someone who is passionate about some particular area or subject, often an obscure or difficult one.
A Dork is someone who has difficulty with common social expectations/interactions.

You scored better than half in Nerd, earning you the title of: Pure Nerd.

Pure Nerd

57 % Nerd, 30% Geek, 43% Dork

Compared to other takers

  • 52/100 You scored 57% on nerdiness, higher than 52% of your peers.
  • 42/100 You scored 30% on geekosity, higher than 42% of your peers.
  • 77/100 You scored 43% on dork points, higher than 77% of your peers.

Outcast geniuses usually are bright enough to understand what society wants of them, and they just don't care! They are highly intelligent and passionate about the things they know are *truly* important in the world. Typically, this does not include sports, cars or make-up, but it can on occassion (and if it does then they know more than all of their friends combined in that subject).

Outcast geniuses can be very lonely, due to their being outcast from most normal groups and too smart for the room among many other types of dorks and geeks, but they can also be the types to eventually rule the world, ala Bill Gates, the prototypical Outcast Genius.

Sweet Thursday in the Thunderbird Cafe

Monday's child is fair of face,
Tuesday's child is full of grace,
Wednesday's child is full of woe,
Thursday's child has far to go,
Friday's child is loving and giving,
Saturday's child works hard for a living,
But the child who is born on the Sabbath Day
Is bonny and blithe and good and gay.

Myers-Briggs types versus Keirsey's temperaments versus Perseus system

Myers-Briggs types versus Keirsey's temperaments versus Perseus system

The type descriptions of Isabel Myers differ from the character descriptions of David Keirsey in several important ways:

* Myers primarily focused on how people think and feel; Keirsey focused more on behavior, which is directly observable.
* Myers' descriptions use a linear four-factor model; Keirsey's descriptions use a systems field theory model.[4]
* Myers, following Jung's lead, emphasized the extraversion/introversion dichotomy; Keirsey's model places greater importance on the sensing/intuition dichotomy.
* Myers grouped types by ‘function attitudes’; Keirsey, by temperament.

http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Keirsey_Temperament_Sorter

versus Perseus System

Perseus system focuses mainly on how people perceive.
Perseus system uses a flexible animal model
Perseus system emphasises the Judging-Perceiving scale and virtually ignores the Introversion-Extraversion scale
Perseus system was developed by the work of Barabara Wicks and from literature and parable and religion.

Birds of Paradise INFP

I have observed some characteristics of INFPs:

1) There need for approval makes them gullible
2) A tendency to regress to Cat ISFP and me manipulative in an even more dangerous way than ISFPs
3) A non-Cat-like need for Men, not for sex and affection but to fix things and manage the home accounts
4) Lie about things that are going wrong like debts and mistakes over practical affairs

I like them but their lack of grasp on reality can be extremely disconcerting. I feel sorry for them if they lose their NF sense of identity, which in the company of the Guards SJ can result in emotional devastation and social exclusion from the club if they do not obey their Master. I can't imagine what happens if they meet the Crazies SF*. I expect they will turn into Caprice or suffer the Divided Self, virtual schizophrenia as the Others relate to them to an identity they are not familiar with.

A Cat ISFP will manipulate the Crazies for their own ends like a Tart.

However, their worst enemy is not the Bully ESTJ but the even more dangerous Tiger (Big Cat) ESTP.

Ghosts of the Departed are Written in the Souls of the Walls

If you leave a place in your physical presence (dead because you are banished, sent to jail etc.) you may leave your ghost wandering around. I have done this. People have said they have seen me in places I have been banned from.

Mary & Sophia

Mary

The third phase is Mary, named for the Christian theological understanding of the Virgin Mary (Jesus' mother). At this level, females can now seem to possess virtue by the perceiving male (even if in an esoteric and dogmatic way), insomuch as certain activities deemed consciously unvirtuous cannot be applied to her. As per Ken Wilber's terminology, this third phase seems to represent Up spirituality while the second phase represents Down spirituality.

Sophia

The fourth and final phase of anima development is Sophia, named for the Greek word for wisdom. Complete integration has now occurred, which allows females to be seen and related to as particular individuals who possess both positive and negative qualities. The most important aspect of this final level is that, as the personification "Wisdom" suggests, the anima is now developed enough that no single object can fully and permanently contain the images to which it is related.

Axis, Bold as Love

OK Cupid, if you want the Axis find your Anima/Animus in the here and now Sensory world.

A man who falls head over heels in love, then later in life regrets his blind choice as he finds that he has married his own anima–the unconscious idea of the feminine in his mind, rather than the woman herself. The anima is usually an aggregate of a man's mother but may also incorporate aspects of sisters, aunts, and teachers.

Comment: M is INFP so I should be ESTJ but I am not, I am INTP. Note the NT Rational not the Crazy SF world of OKCupid.

OK Cupid, if you want the Axis find your Anima/Animus in the here and now Sensory world.

Brownsville Girl

Now I've always been the kind of person that doesn't like to trespass but sometimes you just find yourself over the line.
Oh if there's an original thought out there, I could use it right now.
You know, I feel pretty good, but that ain't sayin' much. I could feel a whole lot better,
If you were just here by my side to show me how.

Tornado Alley

Tornado Alley
I gave my Heart, but she wanted my Soul

Don't pretend the dreams of the Priests are the same as mine. That is the Orchestra. Open up your eyes and don't be fooled by the twisters.

A Tree that stood for a thousand years may suddenly fall. It won't matter* to the Eagle (INTP) or the Snake (ENTP). It might matter to the Bear (ISTP).

Tiger Dragon

Tiger Dragon

http://travel-hounds.com/dragon/quiz.html

In the war between good and evil, Tiger Dragons take the side of the noble and good.
When it comes to the powers of Chaos vs. those of Law and Order, your inner dragon is a risk taker and answers to no one.
As far as magical tendancies, a Tiger Dragon's nature does not lend itself well to the ways of Magic.
During combat situations, whether by spells or by claw, your inner dragon will do whatever it takes to get the job done.

Dragon Description:

Tiger Dragons willingly live in any environment, so long as it is isolated from the influences of man. They have been known to build massive and incredibly complex structures of all shapes, kinds and purposes, though many never build anything. A Tiger Dragon is honest and forgiving with a very long patience. They are slow to anger, but, once enraged, may destroy entire civilizations before cooling down. Should one become exceedingly angry, it will tend to take revenge by completely destroying every aspect of its targets' lives, but never killing them. The Tiger Dragon's mind is its most formidable weapon.
Tiger Dragons are armored in short, soft, but incredibly strong and resilient fur. They can come in a variety of colors and patterns, including white, black, orange, yellow, gray, and tan, with stripes covering most, little, or none of their bodies. They tend to smile frequently and laugh freely. Tiger Dragons tend to dislike violence, but when enraged can do anything. A Tiger Dragon is very selective when choosing close friends, but is intensely loyal to all it deems worthy of friendship. A Tiger Dragon leads a very quiet and unobtrusive life. A Tiger Dragon's feelings run deep and true. Tiger Dragons mate for life.
This Dragons favorite elements are: Life, Wisdom, and Love.

I think I would like to have been the Gold Dragon.

The juicy fruit is enJoy.

Don't believe in the dreams of others, only your own. The sensors get their dreams by piracy. (If composed ISFP from a lot of sources it is called Research!)

A Hawklet (INTJ) that admits they don't get it! This is an INTP invention of a common theme.
It can't be got. Or if it is got, by the following day a new picture book is opened. Hawks should by the Perseus theory really have their own picture book, but in practice they don't go as high as the Eagles (INTP) although they may be higher than the Skylarks (INFJ).

All the extroverts follow the orchestra, although the Snake (ENTP) cannot hear the tune, only feel the vibrations.

A Wolf, was doing a Hawk shape-shifter and going on about me looking in mirrors. is this the Nark* Game, a judgment by the Hawks (INTJ)? (*Narcissus).

The mirror was smashed along time ago~ with the splinters that have to be rebuilt into a new mirror. This (for me) takes lots of money which I haven't got!

Welsh Partners

Each one has its worst (called the Welas or the Welsh)

INTP x ISFP Eagle x Cat

INTJ x ISFJ Hawk x Mouse (although this could work?)

ENTP X ESFP Snake x Butterfly

ENFP x ESTP Ferret x Lion

ESTJ x ENFJ Bully x Beaver (Teacher)

ISTP x INFP Bear x Bird of Paradise

ESFJ x ENTJ Horse & Wolf

ISTJ x INFJ Dog x Skylark

All these could end in Murder quite easily. The killers would most likely to be Eagle (desperate choice), Lion (tactical move) or Beaver (temper).

Also Wolf (self defence against Horse stupidity)

SODA method of picking up Tarts

Scan, Orientate, Decide, Action
The SODA method of picking up Tarts (part of the Sore Dragon system)

You have to orientate yourself. Behind (parent), in front (lover), by the side (partner).

Behind (enemy Bully), in front (adversary), by the side (friend or colleague).

And all sorts of other angles, like oblique. And beware of the web spinners!

Tribal Marriages

In the Native American tradition, you have be touched by the other types to know your Enemies.

In the Perseus system you should marry your tribesman/tribeswoman

Tribesman
share a sense of culture, but with different interests and abilities

INTP (Lawyer) x ENFP (Journalist)

INTJ (Scientist) x ENFJ (Teacher)

I am still making up my mind what the INTP (Writer) should do. It might be best to find a INFJ (Graphic Designer).

But who who the INTJ (Economist) meet? It might be the INFP (Personal Assistant).
